DANA CUP INFO:
 
Dana Cup is Denmark's largest and the world's most international football tournament for youth teams. All games are played on one of Northern Europe's most beautiful football facilities, with 55 soccer fields used for tournament play. The very first Dana Cup tournament was held in 1982 with 222 teams. In time the Dana Cup has grown to between 700-800 teams from 92 different countries. This is the 23rd year of exciting international football for the Dana Cup. Participants will be welcomed to Hjørring from the 25th of July to the 30th of July. Some points of special interest:

  • The best grass fields in Northern Europe.
  • Free Dana Cup bus system during the tournament.
  • A fantastic leader night with great entertainment.

    • The soccer tournament itself is divided into the following sections:
    First round: The teams will be divided into groups of 4 or possibly 5 teams, with each team playing all the others in the group.
    Second round: The second round will operate on a knock-out basis. The teams placed 1st and 2nd in the first round will play in the second round "A". The remaining teams will play in the second round "B".
    Finals: All finals in the 7-man classes will be played on Friday. This also applies for the A-finals in the classes B-13 and G-19. All other finals will be played on Saturday
